Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices of Abaca Craft Producers: Philippine Illustrations

The study determined the knowledge, attitude, and practices of abaca craft producers in Marihatag, Surigao del Sur. Specifically, sought to determine socio-demographic profile production respondents. This used a quantitative qualitative research design, utilizing set questionnaires an interview guide involving 134 producers, who were selected through random sampling method. also interviewed focus group discussion. results indicated that respondents are 41 or older (41.8%), female (78.4%), have finished secondary level education (55.2%), 5 6 dependents (38.06%), married (70.9%), been producer for less than year (41.4%), attended 1 2 trainings (46.27%) on production.
